Religion is not a crutch

Christians tend to think many wrong things about atheists.

For example, they think we left because we wanted to sin more. When it's actually the contradictions in the bible that disturb us. And impossible commands too, of course, like stoning people who do not keep the sabbath, etc.

The other misconception is that they think we look down on them because they're using religion as a crutch. Then they'll say to their congregation, "So be it; indeed Jesus is our crutch. Let them look down on us. We know whom we have trusted, and He will not let us down. Let's see who laughs on judgment day." Or something like that. Thus portraying us as cold-hearted bastards. Which we are not at all.

We don't think they are emotionally weak. We just think they are wrong. Factually wrong.

Sometimes I think they're silly, in a certain way, in the way that all of us are susceptible to being at times. But at no time did I think of them as emotionally weak.
